The journey to the Serengeti is part of the adventure. From a small plane, the Rift Valley, the Ngorongoro highlands and the first glimpse of endless plains unfold beneath you.

By air: the easiest way
Most guests fly by scheduled or private charter light aircraft from Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International (JRO) to Seronera airstrip in Central Serengeti. Our team meets you on arrival for the road transfer to camp, approximately 20–30 minutes away.
Escape is in the Nyabogati sector, northeast of Seronera — about 17 km in a straight line from the airstrip. Seronera is simply where you land; the camp itself is in the quieter wooded hills beyond.
By road: a safari on the way
The drive from Arusha takes approximately 8–9 hours, through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the Serengeti. It is a long day, but it can be arranged as a guided road safari with game viewing along the way. For most guests, we recommend flying.
