The Tents

Born from a
            love of the wild

Canvas walls, open skies, and Africa all around

Escape Luxury Lodge is an intimate tented retreat set within the Seronera Valley, the year-round wildlife heartbeat of the Serengeti National Park. We built this camp for those who want to be truly immersed, not merely spectators. Here, the wild comes to you.

Our twelve handcrafted tents are positioned to maximise seclusion and sightlines. The Serengeti is your garden, your view, your constant companion from the first coffee on your veranda to the last sounds you hear before sleep.

Crafted for the wild

Where comfort meets the untamed

Each of our tented suites was conceived as a sanctuary a space where the divide between inside and outside simply ceases to exist. Canvas panels roll back to expose the Serengeti in its entirety. Your veranda is your living room. The horizon is your ceiling.

Inside, locally sourced hardwood, handcrafted stone basins, four-poster beds with canopy, and carefully curated East African art create a space that feels at once deeply personal and effortlessly luxurious.

The Single Tent

A four-poster king bed, freestanding wooden soaking tub, and a private veranda opening to the Serengeti. 11.96m × 5.0m plus terrace

The Family Tent

Two independent bedroom suites, a grand beaded chandelier lounge, and two private verandas. 15.32m × 7.34m total footprint.

Location & Access

Where the wild never sleeps

At the Headwaters of the Nyabogati

We are not in the famous grassland Serengeti of most photographs. We are in the wooded hills of the Nyabogati sector, where the terrain rises, the canopy closes, and the Nyabogati River begins from permanent springs that flow year-round.

Wooded hills mean leopard country. They mean forest birds that grassland camps never see. They mean privacy, no vehicle convoys, no shared sightings. Just the Serengeti as it actually is when nobody else is looking.

What Our Guests Say

The wooded hills were a complete surprise. We'd done the grassland Serengeti before. This felt deeper, wilder, more private. The leopard sightings were extraordinary.

Escape makes you feel completely alone with Africa. The G7 Family Tent gave our children their own space. The campfire dinners were the highlight of our trip.

The Reinholt Family Denmark

I've done twelve lodges across Tanzania and Kenya. The Nyabogati woodland experience is unlike anything else I've encountered. Genuinely exclusive
